What you’ll be doing:
* Validating and verifying infrastructure components, systems and networks to ensure performance, reliability and security requirements are met.
* Carrying out functional and non‑functional testing across physical and virtual infrastructure.
* Performing end‑to‑end integration testing.
* Analysing test results and producing clear documentation.
* Working independently to manage test activities and contribute to project delivery.
* Supporting the enhancement of test approaches, tooling and frameworks.
What you’ll bring:
* Experience working as an Infrastructure Test Engineer or in a similar role.
* A strong technical background.
* Good knowledge of Windows Client and Server operating systems across physical and virtual environments.
* Experience of end‑to‑end integration testing.
* Ability to work independently.
It would be great if you had:
* Knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, VMware, Hyper‑V or Citrix.
* Understanding of security and compliance standards.
* Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, role‑based access, OU structure and Group Policy.
* Appreciation of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and DNS.
* PowerShell scripting skills.
* ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent qualifications.
