Job Description
The Senior Programme Manager will oversee enterprise‑scale initiatives across the retail health landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic aims, timely execution, and disciplined governance. You will collaborate with senior leaders to define outcomes, allocate resources, and measure progress, prioritising measurable value for the business and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and manage multi‑department programmes with explicit value propositions and success metrics.
* Translate business strategy into actionable programme objectives, embedding robust governance and decision rights.
* Coordinate cross‑functional delivery, map dependencies, and surface risks with pragmatic mitigation plans.
* Cultivate an outcomes‑focused culture, leveraging data and benefit tracking to steer decisions.
* Lead change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement to secure sustained buy‑in.
* Project future demand, capacity, and financials to protect delivery commitments.
* Assemble and steer high‑performing teams and external partners where required.
Requirements
* Proven track record in large‑scale programme or portfolio leadership within retail or consumer health ecosystems.
* Experience guiding diverse delivery teams across complex, multi‑functional streams.
* Executive‑level stakeholder management and clear, persuasive communication skills.
* Financial literacy with budgeting, forecasting, and realisation of benefits.
* Change management and governance mastery, with proactive risk assessment and mitigation.
* Fluency with PM methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Jira, MS Project).
* History of delivering strategic initiatives on time and within scope in fast‑moving environments.
