QA Tester (SC Cleared) Location: Mostly remote Telford 2 days on-site a month Contract: 6 months Rate: £300-£400 per day inside IR35 Clearance: Active SC required About the Role: Were looking for a hands-on QA Tester to join Agile delivery teams on exciting data projects. Youll be executing both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality outcomes across functional, integration, and end-to-end testing. Youll help define the Test Approach, create and execute test scripts, prepare test data, and document coverage and results. Working closely with project stakeholders and supplier teams, youll ensure risks are identified, managed, and escalated where necessary. Key Responsibilities: Execute Functional System Testing and Integration Testing across multiple projects Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts Define and document Test Approaches and Test Completion Reports Analyse requirements and technical documentation to identify test scenarios Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with delivery teams Monitor and report test progress, raising issues and risks proactively Essential Skills & Experience: Active SC Clearance ISTQB Software Foundation Certification Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing Proficient with test tools (e.g., Postman) and ETL testing Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, or other databases Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Migration Familiar with AWS and cloud-based data solutions Skilled in Agile methodology, Jira, and Test Management tools (e.g., Zephyr Scale) Excellent written and verbal communication skills If this role aligns with your skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you.
