With an increasing demand for urgent care, we are seeking the right person to join our workforce within our Walk-in Centre. We would welcome applications from Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners, all based within our Ashford Walk-in Centre in Middlesex.
The Walk-in Centre provides access to urgent care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As a clinician within the Walk-in Centre, you will work as an independent, autonomous practitioner providing high quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care. You will be responsible for utilising expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide unscheduled medical care and management of a diverse range of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed minor illnesses and injuries.
There are excellent opportunities for training, including non-medical prescribing, with support and encouragement for your personal development. The post offers staff benefits as well as Agenda for Change, which include a pension scheme or continuation of an NHS pension scheme.
Part-time hours are available over a 7-day week, 365 days a year, working shifts to cover opening hours from 08:00 to 20:00 hrs.

* Minimum 4 years post-registration experience in ED or UTC/walk-in centre.
* Proven track record in research-based practice.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Level 1 or HCPC registered paramedic.
* Post-registration diploma or equivalent in advanced assessment skills for non-medical practitioners.

* Post-registration diploma or equivalent in managing minor illness/health problems for advanced practice.
* ILS or willingness to undertake.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Non-medical prescriber.

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 per year, plus a 5% High Cost Area allowance, pro-rata.
