SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield, North London
Role Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Supply
Start Date: After the Easter Holidays
We are currently recruiting caring and committed Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work in specialist SEN schools across the Enfield area.
These schools support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, and we're looking for individuals who are passionate about inclusion and making a real difference in education.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
2. Help students access the curriculum and build independence
3. Support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
4. Follow individual education and care plans
5. Assist with sensory needs and behaviour strategies
6. Provide personal care where required (toileting, dressing, feeding, etc.)
7. Work closely with teachers and other support professionals
We're Looking For:
8. Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable, not essential)
9. A calm, patient, and resilient approach
10. Willingness to support with personal care
11. Strong communication and teamwork skills
12. A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
