Newstaff Employment Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Transportation Manager to oversee a logistics and transportation operation. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all transportation-related activities within the organization. You will lead a team of drivers and logistics personnel while ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement transportation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Manage daily transportation operations, including route planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
* Lead and mentor transportation staff, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
* Monitor transportation KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.
* Oversee budgeting for transportation activities and manage departmental expenditures.
* Collaborate with other departments to align transportation services with overall business objectives.
Requirements
* Proven experience in transportation management or logistics operations.
* Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
