Electrical Maintenance EngineerLocation: Devon (Manufacturing Site)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured engineering team with clear progression opportunities into supervisory roles.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding
* Perform planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules
* Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
* Carry out general site maintenance activities
* Work across both Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines
* Maintain and troubleshoot:
o Three-phase electrical systems
o Analogue current loops
o Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
o Converting machinery (cutting/sheeting)
o Packaging equipment (wrappers)
o Conveyor systems and processing lines
Experience & Qualifications
* Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
* Mechanical maintenance experience is beneficial
* Knowledge of PLC and/or DCS systems is advantageous but not essential
The Role
* Monday to Friday, days-based role (08:00 - 16:30)
* Call-out rota: 1 in 4 weekends
* Reporting into the Electrical Lead within a structured engineering team (Electrical & Mechanical Engineers)
