We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to join our teaching team as a Sessional English Cover Tutor. You will support the team in engaging and inspiring students, teaching across the college with a focus on GCSE English and Functional Skills.
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will create engaging learning experiences for our students. Your enthusiasm and innovative teaching style will motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and with varied academic and vocational aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lessons to a range of learners, ensuring high-quality student learning experiences in English.
Contextualize lesson delivery and assess learner progress through formative assessment, providing feedback and maintaining records.
Complete all related administration accurately and on time.
About You:
Minimum Level 3 Qualification in English.
Level 2 Qualification in Maths.
Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Experience teaching English/Functional Skills/GCSE students across various levels.
