This is a part time position, offering 16 working hours per week.

Main duties of the job
Thesuccessful candidate will strategically develop the non-surgical management ofpatients across Defence Rehabilitation and ensure local implementation ofrelevant national policy.
Youwill be expected to undertake a significant clinical caseload to a highprofessional standard using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practicalexperience and to support other practitioners on a service-wide consultancybasis for complex cases.

Job responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Assessing highly complex cases using a range of assessment/diagnostic methods and reach valid, reliable and comprehensive patient and client-centred conclusions appropriate to needs, context and culture.
* Undertaking a detailed physical and psychosocial assessment of complex patients by using investigative and analytical skills and expert clinical reasoning in order to establish a diagnosis and implement an appropriate treatment plan.
* Producing individual treatment and intervention plans for patients with highly complex needs who require in-depth diagnosis.
* Providing training and expert clinical advice within the RRU ensuring that it operates to the highest possible standards of clinical practice.

Experience
* Clinical experience at minimum Band 7 level in relevant field of physiotherapy.
* Evidence of an up-to-date Advanced Practice Portfolio.

Qualifications
* Degree or Graduate diploma (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
* Master of Science (MsC) in related clinical area.
* Qualified and competent in diagnostic ultrasound and injection therapy.

* You are reqiured to be registered with the relevant professional body, as detailed in the advert, prior to submitting your application.

Registrations and Memberships
* Health and Care Professions Council Registered (HCPC).
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
* Accreditation as an Advanced Practitioner with Health Education England (HEE) Centre of Advanced Practice.
