Join a forward-thinking automotive manufacturing company in Warwick, leading a vital production operation across Body & Chassis. We're seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Manager to drive quality, efficiency and team performance in a fast-paced, single-line manufacturing environment.

* Leadership of 150 indirect staff, 6 direct reports (welders, fitters, electrical technicians)

* Strong Health & Safety (IOSH minimum) required
* Open to candidates outside automotive, but must have single-line production experience
Core Responsibilities:
* Lead daily and weekly production planning to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets
* Manage labour and resource planning to align with output forecasts and takt times
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality
* Oversee compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
* Promote a proactive safety culture through audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
* Conduct and support formal HR processes including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
* Provide real-time data analysis and reporting to drive operational decisions
* Mentor and develop team members, supporting training and upskilling plans
* Monitor team performance, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business goals
* Build effective communication with internal departments and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
* 5+ years in production leadership (ideally single-line manufacturing)
* Background in automotive or comparable high-quality manufacturing sector
* Strong man-management experience – not just data-focused
* IOSH certified; safety-first mindset
* HNC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in management or production-related discipline
* Confident handling people matters, including performance and ER processes
* Motivated, hands-on, and results-driven
