Dayshape is a fast‑growing software scale‑up focused on AI‑powered resource management for professional services firms. We’re looking for a data analyst who can help us unlock insights from our customers’ usage and drive adoption, retention and growth.
About the Role
As a Customer Data Analyst you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales to create dashboards, reports and insights that inform product and business decisions. You will partner with the existing Product Data Analyst to deliver deep analytical stories that help our customers succeed and our company grow.
What You’ll Do
* Work alongside our Product Data Analyst and with engineering to extend our analytics solution
* Help the product and engineering teams build mechanisms to capture customer analytics
* Take the lead on creating, developing and maintaining customer‑facing reports, dashboards and insights that identify trends, risks and opportunities
* Present findings to stakeholders and customers, translating data into narratives
* Recommend data‑driven ways to improve customer experience and streamline service delivery
* Turn insights into product and business improvements, collaborating with cross‑functional teams
* Support Marketing and Sales with data to shape messaging, differentiators and value propositions
* Assist in developing KPIs across usage, satisfaction and performance metrics
About You
* Proven experience in data analysis, visualisation and reporting
* Strong SQL skills and comfort using tools such as Excel, Power BI, MS Fabric, Tableau, SAP BI, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Lake Store
* Background in professional services, with insight into how customers operate
* Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and drive process definition
* Excellent communication; able to present complex data clearly
* Comfortable explaining technical concepts with engineering fundamentals
* Strong independent and collaborative working style
* Curiosity and passion for learning new skills and technologies
* Attention to detail and commitment to accurate analysis
* Proactive problem‑solver who proposes solutions and drives improvement
Bonus Points If You Have
* Experience with complex enterprise software
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL, Kusto, Python

* Salary £32,000‑£43,000, based on experience

Working Details
This is a full‑time role (37.5 hrs per week). Standard hours are 09:00‑17:30, Monday‑Friday, with flexibility. Preference for an Edinburgh‑area resident; remote within the UK is acceptable. Hybrid work model, no mandatory office days.
