Performance Objectives
Inspection of Inbound Goods:
* Verify incoming components, materials, and paperwork against customer specifications, drawings, and purchase orders.
* Check for raw material certification, supplier Certificates of Conformance (CofC), and compliance with traceability regulations.
* In accordance with business protocols, reject, quarantine, and report non-conforming products.
Inspection of Dispatch and Final Release:
* Check completed goods for compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and routings.
* Before shipping, confirm that the packaging, labelling, and dispatch documentation are all in compliance.
* Before releasing, confirm that all records are correct and comprehensive by signing off on CofCs.
Inspection in Process:
1. At crucial points in the manufacturing process, perform in-process inspections to verify specification compliance.
