Access & Identity Management (AIM) Analyst – Location: Coventry
As an AIM Analyst you will act as a security guardian to our information systems, ensuring correct access is enabled, removed on time, and that audit requirements are met. The role is part of the Application Support team within Technology and is based at Severn Trent Centre head office, Coventry.
Key Accountabilities
* Control access to all company‑wide IS systems in line with the security policy
* Enable and remove access to specific IS systems through a controlled and auditable process, including appropriate authorisation and approval
* Respond to and resolve incidents related to system security access issues
* Own all reporting requirements to satisfy internal governance and external audit needs, and escalade security issues within working practices
* Analyse trends and validate information, taking corrective action as necessary to maintain security policy compliance
* Manage day‑to‑day user access and revocation activities, seeking continual improvements to effectiveness and efficiency while maintaining secure levels of access
* Investigate SAP security incidents and problems to resolution, ensuring root cause analysis is undertaken where required
Requirements
* Experience with one or more of the following systems is advantageous: ServiceNow, Target, SAP, and/or CMP
* Strong communication and customer‑service skills – you will interact with stakeholders for access and deletion requests
* Ability to determine appropriate access, exercising curiosity and caution to ensure correct, procedure‑aligned access is issued
* Positive, caring attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative culture
* Flexible mindset, capable of working 37 hours per week across Monday to Friday
