The Role: Point Recruitment are supporting a well-established, community-focused organisation in the appointment of an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery, people management, and programme coordination. This is a highly visible role, central to ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and positive engagement with staff and service users. As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of operational performance across multiple programmes, working closely with senior leadership and departmental heads. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Huntingdon, offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to lead teams in a fast-paced, people-centric environment. This is a permanent role, working Tuesday to Saturday. The organisation operates within a regulated and safeguarding-led setting and is seeking an Operations Manager who can balance operational efficiency with strong leadership, communication, and quality assurance. Main Responsibilities: * Oversee all day-to-day operations to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery * Manage programme capacity, scheduling, and timetabling to meet demand * Lead recruitment and onboarding processes for new participants * Monitor and maintain quality standards across service delivery * Line manage teams, including rotas, absence cover, supervision, and development * Support staff training, mentoring, and performance review processes * Work collaboratively with departmental leads to align operational goals * Lead or support delivery of events, displays, and special programmes * Oversee engagement and communication with parents and stakeholders * Ensure operational compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and internal policies Skills/Experience: * Proven experience in operation management or programme management within an education, activity or sports environment. * Strong people-management and leadership background * Experience managing rotas, staffing levels, and operational logistics * Confident delivering quality assurance and continuous improvement * Excellent communication skills with staff, parents, and stakeholders * Strong organisational and time-management skills * Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach Salary & Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00 – 17:00
