Role Summary The HGV Admin role requires strong administration, technical truck maintenance background, and excellent IT and communication skills. The individual needs to be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task under deadlines, work on their own initiative, and be a good problem solver with a Class B driving license. Responsibilities include managing driver defect reports, scheduling repairs, communicating with the driver management team, preparing reports, identifying process improvements, assisting with subcontractor repairs, answering phones, and coordinating NVD material. Requirements Strong administration skills. Must have a technical background in truck maintenance Excellent IT skills essential – An understanding of the Asset minder / Sage systems would also be advantageous; however, this is not crucial Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal essential Highly organised with strong attention to detail essential Ability to multi-task and work well under strict deadlines is essential Ability to work on your own initiative Good problem solver Full clean driving license – Class B. Key Responsibilities Review all daily driver defect reports and organise scheduled repairs in a timely manner Control of Asset minder defect manager system updating defect rectification status Proactively communicate with the driver management team to identify defects Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed Identify areas for continuous improvement for processes based on experience and driver feedback. Manage driver defect management system and coordinate with Assistant Manager/Supervisors to schedule in repairs Assist in scheduling vehicle repairs into subcontractor workshops in Ireland & UK.
