· Deliver a range of full body treatments and massages including deep tissue, sport and aromatherapy massage and body treatments which include body scrubs and clay-based body wraps, ensuring that our clients and members receive the very best experience showcasing the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
· Carry out consultations prior to treatments, identifying any medical or health concerns to ensure the highest standards of safety and care using all of your experience and expertise to reduce pain and to restore calm.
· Ensure that the consultation, treatment, aftercare and experience exceeds the expectations of our clients on the ground-breaking metabolic health programme and our members.
Combe Grove is quickly building a reputation for being the country's foremost leader in metabolic health, offering specialist programmes in general metabolic health, prediabetes, menopause and fertility.
As well as a professional interest in at least one of the specialist programmes you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and be fully qualified within your area of specialism.
You will hold a minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Massage, Sports Massage, Holistic/Complementary Therapies or similar.
We are looking for a therapist with exceptional listening and verbal communication skills, coupled with an unwavering attention to detail. As a valued member of our team, you will demonstrate remarkable adaptability, consistently delivering an exceptional standard of massage that is precisely tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
You must be consistent and dependable. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of therapy for every client will be paramount, all while demonstrating a genuine sense of care, empathy, and sensitivity. By creating an atmosphere where clients feel truly relaxed and at ease, you will play a vital role in ensuring an extraordinary experience for each and every individual.
You must have strong time management skills, demonstrating reliability and punctuality with a proven record of working well within a team and an enthusiasm to help build the service.
You must have an awareness and understanding of contraindications to massage therapy with expertise in human anatomy and physiology.
A passion for the importance of nutrition and metabolic health and how body treatments can aid physical and mental wellbeing in a complementary manner is essential for this role.
This is a flexible part-time contract to cover approximately 1 day a week (8 hours with 6 treatments required).
