Interim Role - Outside IR35 - 6 Month contract
MUST HAVE INSURANCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE and Detailed knowledge of insurance PAS
Our client is a high growth MGA seeking an operational efficiency specialist to improve the performance of its policy administration environment. The focus is to deliver measurable gains in speed, accuracy and consistency across systems and processes linked to underwriting, claims, pricing, data and finance.
Role Purpose
The role requires a disciplined approach to diagnosing operational issues and redesigning processes using recognised improvement methodologies. You will apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to remove waste, reduce variation and strengthen controls. The aim is to build a streamlined, repeatable and technology aligned operating model that supports scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct structured reviews of current processes linked to the policy administration system
* Use Lean and Six Sigma techniques to identify waste, bottlenecks and failure points
* Map end to end workflows across underwriting, claims, pricing, data and financial operations
* Redesign processes to improve accuracy, throughput and operational control
* Define system changes and integration improvements that enhance process performance
* Establish clear metrics, operational KPIs and governance to track and sustain improvements
* Work closely with business leaders to ensure adoption and alignment with commercial objectives
Experience Required
* Demonstrable experience in operational efficiency within insurance, ideally MGA or carrier
* Strong knowledge of policy administration systems and associated operational functions
* Lean and Six Sigma training essential, ideally Green Belt or Black Belt
* Proven track record delivering measurable process improvements and operational simplification
* Able to translate complex operational issues into clear, actionable recommendations
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and capable of influencing change across multiple teams
