The infrastructure landscape is evolving rapidly as organisations seek greater standardisation, automation, and strategic guidance on their journey to the cloud. At Capgemini, our Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) team is at the forefront of this transformation—helping clients navigate complexity with clarity, creativity, and confidence.

As the market evolves, huge opportunities are opening, and clients are dealing with an ever‑increasing complex landscape and need advisory services. CIS Advisory Services builds relationships with CTOs/CxO’S, allowing them to take a step back to identify complex challenges, bring critical insights to solve industry issues, and maintain operational control while scaling cloud, cyber, and Gen AI strategies.


Your Role

To apply your technical knowledge and understanding to generate creative and innovative solutions for our clients.

* Develop deep relationships with CxOs and advise on large‑scale transformation deals and complex programmes to drive the growth agenda in Cyber Security.
* Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external clients to maximise the benefits for all parties.
* Utilise critical thinking to generate innovative perspectives, applying knowledge of a range of technologies to identify improvement areas for our clients and opportunities for our business.
* Think creatively to transform client challenges into competitive technical propositions that make Capgemini their preferred partner.
* Represent the CIS Advisory team internally and externally at a board level.

Your Skills and Experience

* Proficiency in technical scoping, architecture design, and integration of security tools and processes.
* Familiarity with security control tools, identity management, and secure development practices.
* Defining and advising on technical strategies & designs according to cybersecurity best practices and ensuring they are deployed correctly in Cloud environments whilst championing automation.
* Be able to highlight experience in multiple projects, that could include – cyber controls engineering, Security operations, Security DevOps and GRC.
* Strong understanding of cyber security principles, governance, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, GDPR, NIS2, etc.).
* Ability to translate business needs into scalable, user‑centric cloud solutions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on thought leadership and solution development.
* A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement—for yourself, your team, and your clients.

Your Security Clearance

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back three continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service). To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last five years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
