£15.30 per hour
Role Overview
You will be required to drive airside and safely guide the Hi-lift vehicle on and off the aircraft. This position will involve loading and unloading the Hi-lift vehicle and a large amount of manual handling which is physically demanding. Working as part of the team you will deliver an excellent service to the airlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure health and safety procedures are in place before opening the Hi-lift doors/shutters.
* Work with the team leader and other Hi-Lift drivers to ensure aircraft are stocked and replenished.
* Stock and replenish with new and used products, cages, waste, etc.
* Ensure the Hi-Lift vehicle leaves the aircraft and airport stand safely and cleanly.
* Assist the cleaning team with their duties.
Required Skills and Experience
* Ability to understand English to adhere to company notices, staff briefings, and individual instructions.
* Self‑motivated, reliable, and conscientious with attention to safety and security.
* Flexible approach to work, able to operate efficiently and thoroughly with minimal supervision.
* Capable of coping with a pressured environment.
* Excellent team player.
* Strong time‑management skills.
Essential
* A current, valid, full clean UK Driving License (D1).
