Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their goals? We're looking for an enthusiastic Development & Skills Coach to join our college community and play a key role in delivering high‑quality personal development, pastoral support, and employability skills sessions.
About The Role
As a Development & Skills Coach, you'll support learners across our campuses, helping them build confidence, strengthen essential life skills, and progress into further study, apprenticeships or employment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a student‑focused environment and enjoys making a real impact in the further education (FE) sector.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Personal Development, work readiness, and enrichment sessions
Manage a caseload of learners, supporting attendance, engagement and progression
Facilitate community projects, employer links, and wider enrichment activities
Support students with UCAS guidance, references and employability pathways
Monitor and track student engagement, including those identified as 'At Risk'
Develop fresh, relevant, and motivating resources to inspire learners
What You'll Bring
Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
Experience delivering Personal Development, employability or enrichment programmes
Ability to motivate and support young people from diverse backgrounds
A positive, proactive and student‑centred approach
Level 2 English & Maths (or willingness to work towards)
Teaching/training qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
