Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: South LiverpoolArea: GarstonPay: £95 per dayJob DescriptionHays Education are working with a mainstream primary based in the Allerton area who are seeking a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to join them working in their SEN Hub.The role will involve: Support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to access learning and participate fully in school life Work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo to deliver individual education plans (IEPs), EHCP targets, and tailored interventions Provide one to one and small group support for pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs Adapt learning activities, resources, and teaching approaches to meet individual learning styles and abilitiesPrevious Experience Required Previous experience working with SEN children at a primary age Or relevant experience from a care background Possession or ability to obtain enhanced DBS checksWhat Hays Education Offers Competitive rates of pay Ongoing support from a dedicated Hays consultant Access to free training and resources Opportunities for short-term, long-term, and permanent roles £250 refer-a-friend scheme (terms and conditions apply)
