Job Opportunity: In House Legal Counsel - Senior Housing Solicitor
Location - Remote (Ideally Midlands based)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience (Up to £90,000)

We are a leading housing disrepair legal firm based in Greater Manchester is looking for a skilled Legal Counsel/ Senior Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with litigated experience in housing disrepair cases, seeking to further develop their career in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee litigated housing disrepair claims from inception to resolution
* Draft legal documents including claims, allocations, and other necessary correspondence
* Provide expert legal advice and support to clients throughout the litigation process
* Work closely with clients, experts, and external parties to ensure smooth case progression
* Represent clients in hearings, trials, and pre-trial discussions
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, while managing risks and advising on the best course of action
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Grade A Solicitor - Senior Level
* Midlands based to attend hearings
* Essential - Litigation experience / preferably in HDR
* Must be a qualified solicitor or barrister
* Excellent drafting skills, particularly in the preparation of claims and allocation documents
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex legal cases
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
