Job Advert: EYFS Teaching Assistant (Long-Term Opportunity)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school environment.
This is a long-term role running until July, with a strong possibility of a permanent position starting in September for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS lessons
* Assist in the development of children’s social, emotional, and educational needs
* Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
* Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
* Contribute to observations and assessments in line with EYFS framework
Requirements
* A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above)
* Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to supporting young children’s development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
