Your New Role
As the Building Safety Datapliance Officer, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate property data to support regulatory building safety cases and the implementation of the Golden Thread of information.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and updating building safety data to ensure it is captured consistently and accurately.
2. Analysing and organising development and property information, including H&S and O&M files, to support Building Safety Cases.
3. Overseeing the data archive function to ensure information is well ‑ catalogued and easily accessible.
4. Working collaboratively with Development and Asset Management teams to support BIM implementation and act as a BIM champion.
5. Organising digital evidence required for regulatory submissions, ensuring consistent formatting and high data accuracy.
6. Supporting resident engagement activities by helping manage safety ‑ related information for residents.
7. Assisting Building Safety Managers with site ‑ based safety data and ensuring all displayed information is up ‑ to ‑ date.
8. Working with asset teams to support future safety projects and budget planning.
9. Creating retrospective 3D building models to inform future safety and investment decisions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential:
10. Strong written and verbal munication skills.
11. Experience presenting data using Microsoft Excel.
12. Experience working with H&S and O&M documentation.
13. Previous experience administering data management systems.
14. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
15. Strong attention to detail and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
16. Ability to work to agreed timeframes and maintain accurate records.
Desirable:
17. Knowledge or experience of BIM.
18. Understanding of building and fire safety terminology.
19. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent A ‑ Level qualification).
20. Relevant Microsoft or business intelligence certifications.
Other Requirements:
21. Mobile working may be required.
