Role responsibilities
The Construction Assurance Manager will be responsible for implementing Transport for Wales' Construction Management processes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, with quality, on time, and within budget.
1. Manage on-site operations, acting as the main point of contact for daily project management and governance.
2. Lead quality assurance processes and develop site documentation for supported projects.
3. Develop a positive safety culture by monitoring and managing contractor and partner compliance with Construction Design Management (CDM) duties, ensuring safety on-site per industry regulations.
4. Coordinate construction site operations across various areas, working with Transport for Wales Rail Ltd (TFWRail) and other stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and collaboration.
Who we're looking for
* Relevant technical qualification or working towards an NVQ Level 6 or degree in construction management or similar, with professional experience.
* Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) accreditation.
* Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS) Certificate.
* Experience working on large infrastructure construction sites in a safety and management role.
Welsh Skills
Ability to speak/write Welsh is a plus but not essential. We support and encourage Welsh language development through various training and community courses.
