Central Operations Manager - Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per year
Bonus: OTE £6,000 per year
Hours: Will be broken down as follows:
40 Hours per week.
Monday - Sunday (5 Days from 7)
Your week will consist of Early, Mid & Late Shifts to suit the needs of the business. You will have autonomy of this rota.
Holidays: 29 Days (Birthday Included)

An overview of what we are looking for? A Central Operations manager with previous experience managing in an office based based environment or amongst field teams. As the Central Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day activity of the Central Operations team. This will consist of a team of Assistant Central Operations Managers, Supervisors and an Office Administrator. Your wider role will be to facilitate the operations of over 100 schools around the country from Head Office.
Key role and Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Central Operations Team
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication.
* Engage with HR & Disciplinary processes where necessary.
* Provide regular updates to senior management on operational performance.
* Conducting Weekly Management meetings with the Central Operations Team
* Creating effective weekly rotas that adapt to the needs of the business.
* Carry out personal development plans with the Central Operations Team
* Assisting in the management of our venues staff rota functionality.
* Rota creation and management of staff availability.
* Assisting in the management of annual leave and cover.
* Overseeing staff compliance and administration.
* Supporting with the management of our office based Operational Supervisors who work outside of school hours on both evenings and weekends.
* Making key decisions centrally for our team off staff remotely.
* Overseeing recruitment of Recreation Assistants.
* Supporting our Regional Field Team around the country
* Utilising our HR platform, Bright HR.
* Assisting with payroll.
* Onboarding admin for new starters.
* Supporting with the launch of our new digital platform.
* Having a flexible and adaptive approach to meet the daily needs of the business.
What do we require for the role?
* Proven experience in recruitment, retention, and management of employee churn.
* Proven Operational experience in a fast-paced business with multiple departments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Strong IT skills with full knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure
