We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and flexible Administrator to provide support to our Commercial Team at Fine Tubes, Plymouth. Reporting to the Key Account Manager, this is a full-time, office-based position, working 37.5 hours per week on day shift, Monday to Friday. The role is offered on a temporary basis for an initial period of six months with possible extension beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Support the processing of customer orders and preparation of order acknowledgements
2. Assist with responding to general sales and customer enquiries
3. Support the preparation of quotations, pricing information, and customer documentation
4. Maintain accurate customer account data, contracts, and commercial records
5. Provide general administrative and commercial support and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
Essential requirements:
6. A minimum of 12 months’ previous experience in a commercial or sales administration role is essential, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach
8. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks
9. Ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating drive, commitment, and resilience
10. High attention to detail with consistently high levels of accuracy
11. Strong numeracy and IT skills, including the ability to work confidently with complex spreadsheets
12. Ability to work independently and complete tasks proactively
13. Flexibility to adjust working hours to support peak business periods when required
14. Ability to successfully pass a company medical, drug (hair follicle) and alcohol test, and background screening
