Job Description:
A highly regarded independent Commercial Broker is currently looking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams, supporting both new business and renewals. They seek driven professionals with commercial insurance experience to serve a diverse client base.
The Account Handler will assist the Account Executive in managing client portfolios, including contract renewals, and will be the first point of contact for external queries, requiring strong client service skills.
This is a remote position with occasional office visits.
About the role:
* Deliver high-quality, efficient service to clients.
* Collaborate with Account Executives to provide comprehensive insurance services.
* Serve a range of clients from small to large corporate risks.
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation for insurance placements, amendments, and renewals.
* Promote a professional company image and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key skills/experience required:
* Experience in commercial insurance account handling and technical knowledge.
* Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Experience with Acturis software.
* Ability to work under pressure and process large information efficiently.
* Negotiation and influencing skills.
* Progression towards CII qualifications is supported but not required.
