As our Strategic HR Business Partner for the Marketing, Commerce & Support directorates, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business by shaping the future of our teams. This role goes far beyond traditional HR support—you’ll act as a true strategic partner, embedded deeply within your business areas, and trusted to design the people environment they need to thrive. You’ll “hold the pen” on the people plan, translating our wider giffgaff people strategy into a tailored roadmap that enables agility, capability, growth, and long‑term success. You’ll be the architect of structures, culture, and talent that allow our teams to deliver brilliantly for our members. From organisational design to leadership coaching, from performance cycles to succession planning, you’ll ensure we have the right people doing their best work in the right ways. Working as part of a small, mighty team of six and reporting to the People Director, you’ll turn data into insight, insight into action, and action into meaningful impact—helping us build an environment where our people feel connected, supported, and empowered to shape the future of giffgaff.

The must haves
* A proven track record of HR business partnering within a Telco or Tech environment. You understand the "language" of telco culture.
* Organisational Change: Solid experience in managing organizational change and navigating the complexities of a growing business.
* Employment Law Expert: Strong foundational knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Relationship Builder: The ability to build "credible, honest, and open" relationships. You are a trusted advisor who isn't afraid to challenge senior leaders when necessary.
* Prioritization: Expert‑level ability to manage multiple high‑priority tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
The other stuff we are looking for
* High emotional intelligence with the ability to coach, empathise and influence senior leaders through complex people challenges.
* Strong stakeholder management and strategic influencing skills, building trusted relationships and confidently challenging where needed.
