JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel – Major Infrastructure Programme
PQE REQUIRED: 4+
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: GBP 64,000 – GBP 69,000
Responsibilities
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating high‑value and complex construction and commercial contracts
* Advising on procurement, contract management and statutory obligations
* Supporting the resolution of contractual claims and disputes, including managing external legal advisers where required
* Contributing to reports and briefings for senior stakeholders to support effective decision‑making
* Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and promoting inclusive ways of working
About You / Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor or barrister
* Strong experience in contract and/or procurement law, ideally within construction, infrastructure or major projects
* Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and working autonomously
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality legal advice in a fast‑paced environment
