Job Description: Production Scheduling Planner
Location: Slough
Salary: £36,700-£41,300 dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5
Contract: Fixed term - 12 Months
Here at Mars, we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduling Planner to join our team!
The Production Scheduling Planner works as part of a dynamic team to manage overall stock levels with optimal line utilization to maximize output, ensure consistent performance of production lines, and fulfill customer orders. This includes managing physical stock levels in different formats, conversion operations, and various packaging elements.
What are we looking for?
* Supply Chain experience in an operational manufacturing aspect, including inventory management or materials planning roles
* Experience measuring and making decisions based on performance metrics related to supply and operations (e.g., Volume Compliance, Adherence to Schedule, Efficiency/TRS, OTIF, CFR, CSL, DIOH, SFA, BIAS)
* Project Management experience
* Planning systems functional knowledge
* Excellent communication and customer service skills to build relationships and solve problems
* SAP, Mapp, or other supply planning applications desirable
* FMCG experience desirable
What will be your key responsibilities?
* Ensure adequate stock levels in different formats to fulfill customer orders
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as an expert in solving inventory issues and providing key analytical data and information
* Actively manage inventory reporting
* Track inventory performance (KPI targets vs actual) and identify improvement opportunities
