Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join our team at Tremorfa Ltd. The role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will have proven hands-on experience, a solid understanding of UK regulations, and a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial gas appliances and heating systems in accordance with Gas Safe regulations.
• Carry out installation and maintenance of plumbing systems including hot and cold water, drainage, and sanitary ware.
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on gas and plumbing systems.
• Conduct gas safety inspections and issue relevant certification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Carry out testing, commissioning, and certification of gas and plumbing installations.
• Liaise effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures on-site, including completion of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and breakdowns where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
• Current Gas Safe Registration (Commercial qualifications).
• Proven experience in gas appliance installation, service, and maintenance.
• Strong background in general plumbing works.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Additional certifications such as LPG, unvented hot water systems, or commercial catering (desirable).
• IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant access training (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (Essential).
• Based in South Wales with willingness to travel as required.
