Engineering Manager

The Company are an established engineering component repair Company who have been steadily growing through repeat business and contract wins reflecting their quality workmanship and engineering ability.
This pivotal role reports directly to the Managing Director and is integral to the businesses growing management team. The successful candidate will provide leadership to enhance the Company's technical capabilities and motivate the engineering team through best practices and innovative methods.
We are ideally looking for someone with knowledge of one or more of the following processes -
* Plasma Spray
* Vacuum hat treatment
* Milling, Turning, Grinding
* MIG, Tig and Spot welding
* Induction brazing
* NDT
* Jig boring
* Protective painting & coatings
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Act as the technical representative of the company.
2. Manage monthly and annual work schedules to ensure attainment of goals.
3. Inspire, lead, and develop the Engineering team to meet business and customer expectations.
4. Provide technical support and input to customers on current projects.
5. Organise Engineering work to meet daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
