McCarthy Stone are looking for Relief House Managers to cover ad hoc shifts at developments across York and the surrounding areas.
Hours: Flexible hours to be agreed with Operations Manager. Hourly rate: £13.77 per hour. Mileage will be paid.

About The Role
A House Manager is a customer-centric role that encompasses front-of-house management, facilities, event coordination and customer service. The Relief House Manager will help homeowners settle in, provide a welcoming front-of-house service, offer help and advice, promote good communications, manage gardens and grounds to maintain a safe and pleasant environment, respond to emergencies professionally, and facilitate social interaction to support retirement living.
* Help Homeowners settle into their new home.
* Provide a professional front-of-house service and welcome all visitors in a friendly manner.
* Be available to Homeowners to offer help, support and advice.
* Promote good communications between Homeowners, their families, and partners/suppliers.
* Manage the development’s gardens and grounds to provide a safe, secure, well-maintained and pleasant environment.
* Deal with emergency situations in a professional way.
* Facilitate social interaction and help Homeowners enjoy retirement living to the full.
Key Competencies
* Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
* Experience in a professional customer service role.
* Professional approach with high quality standards.
* Reliable and flexible to deal with out-of-hours calls and emergencies.
* Thrives in a busy, varied role where every day is different.
* Resilient with effective problem-solving skills.
* Awareness of basic Health and Safety is advantageous.
* Good computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
* First aid qualifications are advantageous.
