Role: Reception/Office Assistant Salary: 15/h (equivalent of 30K) Location: Central London Hours: 8:30 – 5:30 Contract: Temporary with potential to go permanent We are seeking a proactive and friendly Office Assistant to support the Executive Assistant and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a fast-paced office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, is highly organised, and thrives on variety. What You’ll Do Act as the first point of contact for guests, greeting and directing visitors and preparing refreshments Maintain the presentation of reception and meeting rooms, including room resets and stock checks Manage meeting room bookings and daily schedules to avoid clashes Answer and transfer incoming phone calls Set up IT and conferencing requirements for meetings Organise meeting catering when required Assist with post and parcel distribution and courier bookings Assist with meeting scheduling and room bookings Print, scan, and bind documents Manage requests for couriers and post Provide ad-hoc support to the Executive Assistant and wider teams Who You Are Proactive, energetic, and a confident self-starter Comfortable in a fast-paced office environment Highly organised with strong multitasking skills Friendly, approachable, and professional Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Working with an energetic team with fantastic benefits, you’ll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly.
