Job Description
* A dedicated focus towards guest experience, ensuring our hotel facilities meet the standards promised.
* A competent ‘hands-on’ person responsible for maintaining fixtures and fittings in perfect working condition and correcting defects promptly.
* Carry out emergency repairs affecting guest bedrooms and services immediately.
* Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from all departments.
* Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks as needed.
* Use maintenance tools and equipment safely and store them appropriately.
* Support health and safety compliance by reporting hazards or risks immediately.
* Work effectively with contractors or external service providers when required.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and report issues to management.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment.
* Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
* Good understanding of health and safety practices.
* Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent repairs.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
* Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling and using maintenance tools and equipment.
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
