We’re looking for a commercially-minded Legal Counsel to join our team and support our business units across our global gaming operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be a go-to legal advisor across commercial deals spanning user acquisition, IT and procurement, ad tech, publishing, and game development working at pace in a fast-growing environment where perfect information is a luxury and smart judgment calls are essential. We need someone who gets energised by solving problems, not just identifying them.
What You’ll Be Doing
Commercial matters
Draft, negotiate and close commercial agreements across the mobile gaming value chain including user acquisition partnerships, advertising monetisation and ad tech arrangements, and publishing deals
Take ownership of transactions from inception through to completion, managing stakeholder expectations and timelines
Build and maintain contract templates and playbooks that scale with the business
Review and negotiate vendor agreements, partnerships, and other commercial arrangements
Negotiate and advise on game development and co-development agreements, including milestone structures, IP ownership, and revenue share arrangements
What We’re Looking For
3-5 years PQE with at least 2 years gained in-house. (PQE is given as a guide only; we are happy to consider candidates who fall outside this range)
Strong commercial contracting experience with demonstrable ability to negotiate complex deals
Comfort operating across a range of legal disciplines, you’re not a narrow specialist and you’re happy to pick up unfamiliar areas quickly
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
Nice to have
Mobile gaming or mobile apps experience - you understand the mobile ecosystem
