Your Mission:
As a Hardware Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of innovation, guiding a talented team of engineers in the design and support of cutting-edge technology. Your role will encompass:
* Leadership: Provide managerial and technical guidance to our electronics design team.
* Project Management: Oversee work packages, managing costs, schedules, risks, and opportunities.
* Production Support: Ensure the engineering team meets production program demands.
* Technical Governance: Uphold company processes and standards.
* Performance Optimization: Lead cost and performance trade-offs.
* Account Management: Manage Control Accounts effectively.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Proven track record in leading engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle.
* Experience with cost and planning management tools, optimizing solutions, and minimizing dependencies.
* Ability to identify improvements in working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction.
* Knowledge of supporting production programs.
Desirable:
* Experience in PLD/FPGA design.
* Familiarity with requirements management tools, such as DOORS.
* Experience with work-package management tools, such as MSP or JIRA.
