Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Derby for a Learning & Development Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering effective learning and development programs to support staff professional growth and improve care practices. Day-to-day tasks include conducting training needs analyses, creating development plans, coordinating training sessions, and monitoring outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The role also involves maintaining compliance with industry standards and fostering a positive culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Qualifications
* Expertise in training program design, delivery, and evaluation
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills
* Proven ability to conduct needs assessments and performance evaluations
* Keen understanding of fostering inclusive, diverse, and equitable learning environments
* Knowledge of child welfare and care practices is highly desirable
* Relevant certifications or a degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or related fields
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Proficiency with learning management systems and other training technologies

* Suicide Self Harm Awareness and Ligature Training
