An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant within the Same Day Emergency Care Clinic/Acute Medical Unit at the Bournemouth site University Hospitals Dorset.
The Health Care Assistant (HCA) in the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) clinic plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. The HCA is responsible for assisting with the timely admission, assessment, and treatment of patients, ensuring that they receive the necessary care within the same day.
Applicants are required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to the provision of high standards of care to patients and the ability to treat all patients, relatives and members of staff with dignity and respect.

In some cases this means that a services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or long term. Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions
