We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Attendance Officer to join an Outstanding secondary school in Barnet. This is a key role within the school, focused on ensuring high levels of student attendance and supporting pupils to fully engage in their education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring attendance data, identifying patterns of absence and working closely with pastoral teams to implement strategies that improve attendance. You will communicate regularly with parents and carers, ensuring that absences are followed up promptly and appropriately.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism.
