Plant / Mechanical Fitter
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant / Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team working with an industry-leading engineering company.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist sector, supporting the maintenance, servicing, and repair of advanced underground installation equipment.
The Role:
* Maintenance, servicing, and repair of specific machinery
* Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
* Working both in the workshop and potentially on-site
* Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for deployment
* Occasional basic welding where required (not a core part of the role)
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
* Strong mechanical knowledge (hydraulics, engines, plant equipment)
* Experience with heavy plant or specialist machinery preferred
* Basic welding skills advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
