Job Title: Personal Assistant
JSP specialises in providing case management services for people with brain injuries or other disabilities. Operating across the Midlands, Northern England, and Scotland, JSP Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We offer brain injury and spinal injury case management, occupational therapy, training, and expert witness services for adults and children.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to support a friendly and independent gentleman in the Newcastle area.
About the role
Are you kind, reliable, and enjoy making a difference? We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide support for approximately 12 hours per week. This role combines admin tasks and social outings, ideal for someone with a good sense of humor.
Working hours and pay
Approx. 12 hours per week, shifts to be discussed. Salary: £15/hour on weekdays, £17/hour on weekends, and £22/hour on bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Providing one-on-one support to help him stay organized and active in the community.
* General admin tasks: managing paperwork, scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and making phone calls.
* Day trips and outings: accompanying him to events, cafes, and places of interest.
* Community involvement: supporting participation in local clubs or groups.
* Offering friendly companionship and practical support.
This role may include evening, weekend shifts, and occasional sleep-in duties.
Open to women and men; applicants must have proficient English speaking and understanding skills (GOR applies).
Candidate requirements
Essential
* Friendly, patient, supportive, and empathetic
* Good sense of humor
* Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and flexibly
* Respectful of personal boundaries and confidentiality
* Full, clean UK driving license
* Own car for work purposes
Preferred
* Previous support experience is a bonus but not essential; attitude is key.
* Experience supporting someone with a brain injury is advantageous.
