This full-time post includes teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, and optionally Key Stage 5. The department focuses on performance, composition, and technology, offering students a rich musical education supported by a range of extracurricular ensembles, digital studios, and performance opportunities. Music provision includes traditional instrumental instruction, choir rehearsals, and use of contemporary production software. The department has a purpose-built music wing with recording suites, Mac-equipped practice rooms, a digital production lab, and a main hall for public performances. Students engage in concerts, inter-school festivals, and showcase events, reinforcing music’s cultural and educational importance at the school.
