My client is a global manufacturing company whose products are used within various sectors, and they are now looking for a PUR Sourcing Associate to join their team.
PUR Sourcing Associate
Your responsibilities in the role:
* Responsible for regional professional services sub-categories
* Category management and negotiation
* Regional point of contact to key stakeholders
* Manage end to end procurement process for professional services
* Support stakeholders across EMEA with sourcing needs and supplier selection if required
* Draft, review and negotiate contracts (MSAs, SOWs)
* Manage supplier relationships including handling performance issues
* Working with the global team on category strategies and cost saving initiates
* Be a general go-to for procurement support and advice (dealing with a lot of queries day to day sourcing related)
Skills and Experience:
* Indirect procurement/sourcing and professional services (Desirable)
* Procurement experience would be a bonus
Supply Chain Planner
Additional Information:
A well‑established pharmaceutical organisation is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team on a permanent basis in Reading. The position is offering 2 days a week from home and a salary of up to £37,000.
This position will monitor and coordinate the supply chain to manage demand, place accurate orders, optimise stock, and ensure timely, complete deliveries.
Candidate requirements:
* Previous experience within supply chain
* Excellent spoken and written communication
* Ability to work under pressure in a progressive and changing environment
* Sound knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
* Sund knowledge of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel
Person Specification of the Supply Chain Planner includes:
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor the entire supply chain, ensuring timely and complete delivery of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to both UK and international markets.
* Optimise SAP usage by maintaining and reviewing planning parameters, and negotiate inventory management parameters with suppliers, including safety stocks, order quantities, and lead times.
* Manage new product launches, packaging changes, and customer demands, ensuring clear communication of volumes and requirements across the business.
* Monitor performance levels, take corrective actions as needed, and communicate risks and opportunities to senior management.
* Generate KPI reports on supply chain metrics, analyse trends, identify operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required for a multi‑national Foodservice brand. Must have a proven track record in leading the Supply Chain for a Multi‑National brand.
The role reports to Slough HQ and offers a flexible working arrangement of hybrid – home and office.
Foodservice / Hospitality / Wholesale industry experience with a focus on Stock management is ESSENTIAL.
