Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to join our welcoming and inclusive school in Stockport.
This is a temporary position until October half term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate. It’s an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive setting, whether you’re seeking a new challenge or looking to build further experience in SEN.
About the Role
As our new SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver high-quality teaching to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate to complex learning needs.
* Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and families to create individual learning plans.
* Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to engage and inspire learners.
* Maintain a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in SEN (mainstream or specialist settings).
* Has a strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behaviour management.
* Is empathetic, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
* Works well in a team and communicates effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* DBS registered onto the update service.
