Hays are currently recruiting a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy and customer‑focused team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 8 weeks. This role involves high‑volume phone‑based customer service alongside accurate processing of claims, making it ideal for someone confident, organised, andfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
1. Handling inbound customer calls and emails professionally and efficiently
2. Responding to customer queries regarding claims and processes
3. Accurately processing claims and updating internal systems
4. Gathering and verifying information to support claims assessment
5. Maintaining clear and accurate records in line with procedures
6. Managing workloads effectively while meeting deadlines and service levels
7. Providing a high standard of customer care at all times
What you'll need to succeed
8. Previous experience in a customer service, call‑handling, or administrative role
9. Confident and professional telephone manner
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when processing information
11. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
12. Reliable, adaptable, and available for a minimum 8‑week temporary assignment
