A vacancy has arisen for a Corporal (Any Profession; however, preference will be given to People Ops – People Specialist) to serve as JNCO HR at 622 Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force, RAF Brize Norton on Full Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 17 August 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status). The Sqn is the Air Mobility Force (AMF) Reserve Aircrew and Flying Support Sqn and provides PTVRs to augment the AMF Output. The HQ staff of the Adjutant and Deputy Adjutant support a wide range of Sqn functions. 622 Sqn JNCO HR is responsible to OC 622 Sqn and the 622 Sqn Adj for: - The management of all admin services affecting 622 Sqn personnel. - Processing monthly Pay Sheets on JPA. - Ensuring all transactions carried out on JPA are in accordance with JSP 752, 754, 757 & 760. - Acting as administrator on all OJAR/SJARs. - Preparation and administration of recruiting paperwork. - Actioning movements on JPA for Sqn personnel. - Recruitment Processing of new candidates. - Induction of new recruits to include kitting, course enrolment and core skills training - Sqn HQ POC for all mental health and wellbeing concerns. - Deputise for the 622 Sqn Adj in their absence, assuming all roles and responsibilities.
