About the Role The successful candidate will play a key role in the continuous upkeep and improvement of site facilities and production equipment. You'll handle planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, support improvement projects, and bring a strong mechanical bias to the team. Key Responsibilities Service and repair manual and CNC machinery, carrying out diagnostics and implementing effective repairs Maintain site infrastructure, plant and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems Assist in developing maintenance procedures and programs Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental guidelines Interpret engineering drawings and O&M manuals, sourcing components as required Support and train peers and apprentices where needed Complete all quality checks and documentation accurately Contribute to continuous improvement and project initiativesSkills & Experience Proven experience maintaining manufacturing machinery and facilities Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship Familiarity with CNC machine control systems (Siemens and Mazak desirable) IPAF or forklift truck counterbalance licence (desirable) Lifting and slinging experience (desirable) Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques Excellent communication and teamwork skillsWhat's on Offer Competitive salary dependent on experience Opportunities for further training and career development A supportive, modern manufacturing environment with long-term stabilityIf you're an experienced Maintenance Technician seeking a new challenge, apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.
