FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Network Test and Automation Engineer to work for our client within the telecoms sector. This role can be carried out remotely or in Bradford.
Our client is seeking a talented network test and automation engineer to join their diverse and high performing team. The ideal candidate will be professional, driven with a customer focus and be delivery orientated. The client is specifically looking for someone with a desire to learn and an agile and adaptable mindset.
Responsibilities
1. Create test plans and test cases based on specifications/requirements from the project team
2. Responsible for executing tests including various types of testing such as system, regression, and performance testing
3. Analyse and document software defects, and collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and fix issues
4. Follow agile process established in the team and make use of JIRA/Confluence to record test and test results
5. Strong knowledge of Cisco devices and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
